I'm sure Americans will be standing in line for the new 1.8's

Is it just me, or is the media one big cheerleader for these toy cars these days? I just hope some money was set aside for shipping charges to bring parts from the EU for warranty work.
Recognizing a good thing - or at least a better thing - when it has one, General Motors is tossing aside the unloved U.S.-built Saturn Ion and bringing the Belgium-built Opel Astra over from Europe. In the states, it's being sold as the Saturn Astra.
