The Buzzards are out for Road Kill

If you haven't heard about Belgiums antiquated sales law, evidently their are only two times a year you can have a sale, without risking a fine from the Shopping Police. This is one of them!

Thursday January 3rd is the official start of the winter sales' period. Many shops opened their doors at 8:00 am and there were swarms of people waiting to get in. Sales run throught the 31st, as discounts get bigger as time passes.
According to department stores, the stocks of unsold clothing are considerable this year. There was about a 5% decline in revenue from last year.
