Palm beer to go on sale in the States

The Palm brewery from Londerzeel in Flemish Brabant has announced that will start marketing its Brabant brown beer in the United States. The company has signed a cooperation accord with an American company that imports speciality beers into the US.

At present ,Palm is only available in Belgium and the Netherlands, where it is very popular.

Palm Breweries is also to export Rodenbach, a tangy beer produced in the West Flemish town of Roeselare, to new markets in the United States.

Palm is currently being imported into the U.S. by a company called "Latis Imports". I know it is available in New York City at some of the better bars.

That's great, I tryed Palm in Amsterdam last winter and really liked it.

They had it on draft at a place called CB Six in midtown east...but I pretty much tapped the keg after stumbling upon it!

Does anyone know other bars in the city that are serving it? It's a great beer.

I know they are in San Diego and Connecticut too since I had it in SD and it is served locally in CT.

Funny thing- I had never heard of Palm until I took a trip to the Netherlands this past January.
While in Amsterdam, I tried Palm (and numerous other stuff too), liked Palm, and upon returning to the States I began noticing it in numerous places in/around Philly.
It's good... very drinkable beer for all seasons.

Just finished enjoying Palm in Maastricht and other fine spots thereabouts. I'm hoping that I can finally find it here in Falls Church.

Just found Palm for first time at Fritzie's Liquors in Beach Haven Gardens, NJ a couple of weeks ago. Then last week, I saw it in the bar at Pennsauken Country Club (South Jersey). I've been craving Palm for a long time until now!

I first tried Palm about 6 months ago and loved it. It's a gentleman's beer. I like that. You can get it at, The Ginger Man, B Cafe on East 75th Street (worth trying if you like Belgiun beer) Bleeker Street Bar and Walkers in Tribeca. It seems to be popping up all over the place. Mostly where there's a high concentration of gentleman.

I was just in NY and I had coffe at a local bar/restaurant in NY. The bar was called "Smiths" and it is located right in the heart of Times Square ( I think). Palm beer is my favorite beer of all time and I have been looking for it to be sold in the states with no such luck. I was shocked when I looked over and saw the bartender pouring two glasses of Palm beer in real Palm beer glasses! I has to ask him how and when he got the beer. I was told that the bar itself has been selling it for about two months and the bartender also informed me that you can now buy it at local grocery stores! Needless to say I was amazed and extremely excited. Up until a week ago, I was lucky if I got to taste a Palm beer once a year when a family friend traveled to Amsterdam on business and brought me back a sixer! Anyway, if you have not tried this beer yet, do yourself a favor and make it happen. I recommend you drink it with a light meal...... like breakfast!

Palm is served at the Pint House in Fullerton, California for $3 on Tuesday nights until 7:00 PM. This is a fantastic deal for an outstanding Belgium beer!
