A Loyal STUD Wife

After the annual office party blow-out, Colin woke up with a pounding headache, cotton-mouthed, and utterly unable to recall the events of the preceding evening.
After a trip to the bathroom he was able to make his way downstairs, where his wife put some coffee in front of him.
“Louise,” he moaned, “Tell me what went on last night. Was it as bad as I think?”
“Even worse,” she assured him, voice dripping with scorn.
“You made a complete ass of yourself, succeeded in antagonizing the entire senior management and insulted the Regional Director General to his face.”

“He’s an a**hole. I should have pissed on him.”
“You did,” Louise informed him. “And he fired you.”
“Well, screw him!” yelled Colin.
“I did. You’re back at work on Monday.”

Do you want to know why STUDS wives are happy?

When she's hot, and You're not not..... there's better shot at happiness.
He may be a dog, ladies, but he'll keep you happy.
A new study reveals that women who wed men who are uglier than they are, will have a happier marriage than those with a more attractive mate.
In couples where the wife is the hotter one, both parties seem to be content, found a study of 82 newlywed duos in the Journal of Family Psychology.
I will say it's hard "not" to look good standing next to Howard Stern or Keith Richards.

Goodbye John and Gina

Nice party for John and Gina last night at LeBaron. Herman knocked himself out preparing a different meal for practically everybody, and the noise level was pretty boisterous by the end of the evening. This is the only part of STUDS thats negative, people leave too soon. We'll miss you guys...
John says you are welcome to come stay with them in Atlanta anytime...just remember what fish and relatives have in common. They both start to smell after three days!

Moving Abroad Can Strain a Marriage

Mary and Ian Tod have enjoyed what Mary calls "a very strong relationship and marriage" for more than 30 years. They lived in Toronto, and Mr. Tod worked as a lawyer before taking a senior-management role at a major auditing-and-tax firm, while Mrs. Tod climbed the ladder and made partner at a prominent international consulting firm. The couple, now in their 50s, raised two children and had many friends and an active social life. READ STORY IN WALL STREET JOURNAL

Belgians sent record number sms texts

59 million sms texts were sent New Year's Eve. The three mobile phone operators in Belgium: Proximus, Mobistar and Base, were prepared for the sms avalanche, although it exceeded their expectation of about 47 million sms messages.
The three mobile phone operators had increased their capacity so the networks would be able to handle the increased traffic New Year's Eve. The capacity was expanded especially in the big cities and in the vicinity of discotheques. Mobistar has reported traffic of 1,267 messages per minute during peak moments.

Belgium not a good place for Entrepenuers

Nearly 70,000 new companies were established in Belgium this year, almost 10 percent more than last year, according to Unizo, a Flemish organization of self-employed and small and medium-sized enterprises on Friday.
This is the best figure for Belgium in years, but it is still quite low compared to the other euro zone countries, the organization said. The increase in the number of start-ups is highest in the Brussels region (15 percent), followed by French-speaking southern region of Wallonia (10 percent) and Dutch-speaking northern region of Flanders (8 percent), the statistics showed.

Unizo, which provides information for start-ups, said the threshold for starting a business in Belgium is still too high.Major obstacles include the social statute, securing sufficient start-up capital and bank guarantees and the uncertainty of starting one's own business, it said.

The organization said the government should help entrepreneurs by granting start-up bonuses, lowering tax burdens for companies and providing a better social statute. The organization also suggested that the authorities provide a better safety net for entrepreneurs who go bankrupt.

"Eco Boat" Will Attempt Round-The-World Speed Record By Burning... Human Fat

The fastest eco boat on the planet will attempt to break the round the world speed record using fuel made from human fat.
Pete Bethune, the New Zealand skipper of Earthrace, said the attempt to circumnavigate the globe would begin from Valencia in Spain on March 1 next year.

The thing does look damn cool though. If this thing works, look for Micheal Moore to be getting comped for a lot of cruises!

Bus driver confuses Belgium with France

Looks like somebody got into the Glühwein a bit early!
A satellite navigation error led a bus full of 50 British Christmas shoppers to Lille, Belgium, instead of the city of the same name in France."It was ridiculous," said one passenger. "The coach driver obviously had two Lilles to choose from on his satnav and he picked the wrong one.
"A few of us started to wonder what was going on when we saw signs for Eindhoven, which clearly isn’t in France. But the driver wouldn’t be told - he insisted he knew what he was doing.
The shoppers, from Gloucestershire, England, were forced to spend an extra four hours in the bus as the driver corrected his mistake and had only two hours left for shopping by the time they arrived at their destination in France, The Daily Mail reported Wednesday.

Some of the passengers were demanding the return of their $300-per person payments for the bus trip."It was ridiculous," said one passenger. "The coach driver obviously had two Lilles to choose from his sat-nav and he picked the wrong one. On the return trip the coach driver switched the sat-nav off and ended up having to back track after encountering a bridge that was too low for the vehicle to fit under. We ended up spending more than seven hours on the bus, which is not my idea of a great day trip.""We are all hoping after this debacle that we will have our money refunded because we didn't get what we paid for," the passenger said.
