Remember real hope and change? That's the message accompanying a big portrait of former President Ronald Reagan on a billboard along I-94 in Albertville, Minnesota.....about 30 miles away from where the very popular George Bush "Miss me yet?" billboard sprang up last month.

As usual the mainstream media....CBS in this case, refuses to believe it's not photoshop. More of the MSM's.... if you don't like the story, try and bury it, school of journalism. The drunken Obama koolaid drinkers are starting to wake up from their stupor

Earlier this week we saw the Europeans become a bit threatening to "The One" when he called for "buy American" in the Stimulis package. Now it looks like even the euphoric American public is waking up from it's drunken election stupor, and can't believe that Mr. Hope and Change hasn't solved all their problems in a few weeks like they thought he would.

USA Today/CNN poll shows that 64% approve of the job the president is doing so far in office, down from a pre-Inauguration high of 83%. On the Stimulis Plan.....only 37% of the public supports opening a sewer grate in the middle of Washington and driving Brinks trucks up to the gaping whole to dump a TRILLION DOLLARS we don’t have down a bottomless pit of waste, graft, and corruption. It took Bush a full month to drop 10%......and if CNN is involved in the polling, you can bet the "actual figures" are probably lower than that.

In Obama's "Throw them under the Bus" appointments we got a two-for-one yesterday.
Nancy Killefer , the proposed Chief Performance Officer, and Tom Daschle, Secretary Designate Health and Human Services, both out for tax problems.
Couple this with Bill Richardson, a Commerce Secretary nominee, out for a corruption investigation, and Timothy Geitner, the new Treasury Secretary, barely squeaking by after not paying taxes despite having been warned about the issue a number times, and it starts to look like Obama's "political experience" is starting to show itself.

Not a good start for the most ethical administration in the history of the universe.....and you know we haven't seen the end of the whole ex Governor Blago fiasco.

Europe loves Obama......but not "that" much!

European Union leaders are holding their annual attempt at pumping life into the EU economy, trying to make it the most competitive in the world by 2010.

The EU today threatened legal action and retaliatory measures against the US if the Obama administration enshrines a "Buy American" clause in its multibillion-dollar economic stimulus package.

The Euros are now discovering what that "change" part, of the Hope and Change, was all about.

It's a little bit hard to swallow this rhetoric from the European Union to express outrage at American protectionism, when that is typically their forte.

Last summer, PepsiCo was thought to be interested in buying up the French dairy company Danone. The French went apeshit.
Soon after, the French government came up with 11 strategic commercial sectors that should be protected from foreign takeovers. Economic patriotism was the new rallying cry.....Buy French. FINANCIAL TIMES

Hope and Change has arrived.....where's my money?

Well it's been almost 24 hours since hope and change arrived and I'm still waiting for my Rainbow and Unicorn. Just checked my Swiss bank account online....no deposits from yesterday...what the hell is going on here, did I forget to fill out a form or something.

I thought the speech was carried out very well, but then "that's what he does well......orate". A little petty in his many shots at Bush though. There were some good parts, I especially liked the bit about not apologizing for our way of life, but some real Obamaism's too. "We will harness the sun and the winds and the soil to fuel our cars and run our factories." Good luck with that, Mr. President. If you’re going to use clichéd language you should at least make it somewhat believable.

But then the great orater actually screwed up the Swearing in Ceremony by flubbing his lines, because he hasn't worked with a human teleprompter before. You know this guy has been practicing this speech since he was 12 years old....and he blows it!

As I laugh uncontrollably a friend says "so what, everybody screws up, he's nervous".
That's funny becuase I don't remember you moonbats giving Bush, or especially Sarah Palin, the same leeway. As a matter of fact, the media made a sport out of actually cataloging them, and if they didn't have enough, they made some up. See Tina Fey, SNL...but "the one" always gets a mulligan for his screw ups........57 states????? The good thing is we now have the gaffe-a-minute Jo Jo Biden to keep Jon Stewart busy....if Obama ever lets him out of the closet again.

I see Ted Kennedy got carted out in an ambulance during the presidential luncheon (I’m starting to believe in this whole hope and change thing) with "fatigue". Is that the new pc term for a quart of Jameson before lunch.

With the expectations that the moonbats and the media have bestowed on the great one...... the greatest leader the world has ever seen will never be able live up to the hype. I almost feel sorry for him. He's already fighting with Pelosi and he's thrown a lot of far left supporters under the bus since the election and moved centre, so I'm lookin for better things.
