The Italian prime minister, who is notorious for making jokes of questionable taste, (not by me) was speaking to journalists after holding talks with the prime minister of Albania, Sali Berisha.... on the trafficking of illegal immigrants across the Adriatic Sea by people smugglers.

Single? I can’t understand why… he’s such a catch.
I believe the appropriate phrase is “testa de cazzo”.

Evidently....the Yutes are outta control in Anderlecht

The Brussels suburb of Anderlecht was the scene of a proper city riot yesterday night. A few hundred immigrant youths and as many football hooligans, among them many skinheads, were ready to take on each other. After Anderlecht’s victory of the cup final on Sunday, they first came to blows.
The Moroccan youths responded to a call on the internet to settle with ‘the white supporters of the football club Anderlecht’ once and for all. They were ready to destroy a supporters’ café across the street from the football stadium, which caused the hardcore supporters to take up arms.
For hours the police services attempted to keep the troublemakers apart. Later the hotheads released their anger on bus stations and an underground station. At one stage the Anderlecht hooligans were even supported by a group of hardcore Germinal Beerschot supporters from Antwerp. The police detained about one hundred and fifty youths.

I want my SKY TV!

IMMIGRANTS caused millions of pounds of damage when they rioted at a detention centre – because they did not have SKY TV. Windows, walls and furniture were smashed in the all night rampage, a court heard yesterday. “The mood quickly changed from disobedience to aggression.” CCTV cameras, tables, TVs, vending machines and toilets were trashed.

Now come on, in their defense, Sky TV is brilliant, and totally worth rioting over...

The Italians have it figured out.

Last week, the Italian interior minister, Giuliano Amato, hosted a conference in Rome on "Islam and Integration." Italy, one of Europe's southern border states, has 1 million Muslims out of a population of 58 million people. Illegal immigrants arrive in Italy in huge numbers.

The Italians, however, have a way of dealing with illegal immigrants. They regularly transform them into legal residents by granting them official papers.

Most of them leave Italy shortly afterward. Since Italy belongs to the European Union and since the EU adheres to the principle of the free movement of persons, an amnesty gives immigrants the right to freely enter all EU member states. Italy allows the immigrants in so that they move out, to EU nations with more generous welfare systems.
