Geekism is Alive and Well in Belgium

Old geeks never die, they just use the money they should have spent on dating to buy balloons and drift away. I assume that they try to land near Star Wars conventions in Ceroux, Belgium.
A Belgian inventor named Benoit Lambert, who, according to StarWars.com, received permission from Lucasfilm to build the balloon as long as it was used for non-commercial activities. It can carry two passengers and a pilot. There's no indication of when Lambert will build a lighter-than-air Death Star.
The balloon, in the shape of the helmet of the legendary Star Wars villain, was the brainchild of Belgian Star Wars fans and cost “in the region of $US135,000 ($164,000)” to build and operate, organisers said.
