Earth Day....some Inconvenient Truths

Over at Stormbringer they humourously debunk the Earth Day crowd from Al Gore's Church of Global Warming.

I'm putting my eggs in this guy's basket, he's old, and he looks smart.....he started "F#*K the Earth Day", a few years ago....hilairious!

Frozen Al Gore is back for 2010

Wow! Visits to the site have been crazy the last few days as folks nationwide are finding out about this year's Frozen Gore!

As if on cue.... like Al Gore’s arrival in Copenhagen, the site of the United Nation’s climate summit....THE GORE EFFECT is creating heavy snowfall and bitter cold temperatures around the US and Europe just in time for the sculpture.

More Global Warming in Paris and Brussels

Early winter snows forced French authorities to close the Eiffel Tower on Thursday and disrupted transport as northwest Europe shuddered under a pre-Christmas cold snap. Much of the north of the country awoke to find a seven-centimetre (three inch) blanket of snow, which delayed flights from Charles de Gaulle airport by up to two hours.

The Eiffel Tower was closed to visitors, and train and bus services were delayed in many areas, as daytime temperatures dropped below zero for the first time in the year and black ice coated northern roads.

Snow also fell in Britain, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands and weather experts forecast worse to come, with disruption especially in Scotland and northern England.

The northern Netherlands experienced the worst falls in four years, with snow up to 25 centimetres deep in places, the national weather service said, while all bus services in the region were cancelled.

In Belgium black ice turned roads into skating rinks, particularly the Brussels ring road and the motorway from the capital to Lille in northern France.
Numerous flights were cancelled and delayed at Brussels airport. Traffic Centre had registered 500 kilometres of traffic standing idle on the roads, with train, tram and bus delays making the chaos complete.

An Ode to Global Warming

At first they just came for the light bulbs and I did not speak out.
Because these days, I like to hide out in the darkness of my nice warm basement.

Then they came for the plastic bags and I did not speak out.
Because I was already using the replacement bag they had issued to me as per the minimum consumption laws made of 100% Polyester (imitation weave no less).

Then they came with this giant, tandem diesel powered monster of a truck to pickup and compost my “bagged” leaves and I did not speak out because I didn’t have any bags.
So they issued me their new paper bags with 100% of the 30% portion being recycled paper, or a 70% loss in real trees.

Then they came for my oil and I did not speak out.
Because they had already confiscated my Smartcar and recycled it into a wheelbarrow that they forced me to use every Earth Day to help them discover new sites to plant more and more and more trees.

Then they came for the BBQ and I did not speak out.
Because it doesn’t matter what the F*&% you do to a vegetarian hotdog, it still tastes like $hit.

Then they came for the air conditioner and I did not speak out.
Because by this time, the inevitable cool climate trend had cycled in once again as it has for billions of eons all by it’s poor little self, for reasons we do not and may not ever understand.

Then they came to register me to vote, and I did not speak out.
So they impaled my poor little weed infested, pesticide free front lawn with one of their plastic Green Party reelection signs.

Finally they came for me and I COULD not speak out.
Because there was nothing left to give, or take.

Lord Monckton rips a Greenpeace-campaigner a new one on global warming

Dogma is really a mindless opponet, but I guarantee you could ask all these cultists the same questions....and you would get the same non answers. These people are truly sheep.

Al Gore won't come within a hundred miles of Lord Monckton and China and India are now giving Captain Bullshit the one finger salute at Hope and Hagen's Climategate. Did you ever think you be rooting for the Chinese?

Oh the irony.....Obama as a cardboard cutout

President Barack Obama's decision to break with tradition and not follow the lead of past Nobel Peace Prize winners bewildered some Norwegians. Others thought he was being impolite.

But he skipped out on several other activities, including lunch with the king, a news conference at Oslo’s Grand Hotel, CNN’s traditional interview with the prize winner and a “Save the Children” benefit concert, where organizers replaced him with an Obama cardboard cutout.

Can the Scandi's keep the ‘real’ Obama and send us back the cardboard cut-out. “Cardboard Obama” couldn't do any worse than empty suit real Obama.

Not everyone thinks Captain Bullshit deserves a peace prize.
Leave it to Michi to give us the Haute Couture for the day...
A very nice Salvation Army sweater over a sheath dress.

I personally like it, because she looks like a Butterfinger

Nice paunch Mrs. O

1200 Limos? 140 Private jets? Must be a CLIMATEGATE Conference goin down........eh?

On a normal day, Majken Friss Jorgensen, managing director of Copenhagen’s biggest limousine company, says her firm has twelve vehicles on the road. During the “summit to save the world”, which opens here tomorrow, she will have 200. “We thought they were not going to have many cars, due to it being a climate convention,” she says. “But it seems that somebody last week looked at the weather report.”

Ms Jorgensen reckons that between her and her rivals the total number of limos in Copenhagen next week has already broken the 1,200 barrier. The French alone rang up on Thursday and ordered another 42. “We haven’t got enough limos in the country to fulfil the demand,” she says. “We’re having to drive them in hundreds of miles from Germany and Sweden.”

And the total number of electric cars or hybrids among that number? “Five,” says Ms Jorgensen. “The government has some alternative fuel cars but the rest will be petrol or diesel. We don’t have any hybrids in Denmark, unfortunately, due to the extreme taxes on those cars. It makes no sense at all, but it’s very Danish.”

The airport says it is expecting up to 140 extra private jets during the peak period alone, so far over its capacity that the planes will have to fly off to regional airports – or to Sweden – to park, returning to Copenhagen to pick up their VIP passengers.

As well 15,000 delegates and officials, 5,000 journalists and 98 world leaders, the Danish capital will be blessed by the presence of Leonardo DiCaprio, Daryl Hannah, Helena Christensen, Archbishop Desmond Tutu and Prince Charles. A Republican US senator, Jim Inhofe, is jetting in at the head of an anti-climate-change “Truth Squad.” The top hotels – all fully booked at £650 a night – are readying their Climate Convention menus of (no doubt sustainable) scallops, foie gras and sculpted caviar wedges. Global Warming Farce Means Big Business For Prostitutes

Politicians and businessmen gathered in Copenhagen to talk about a warming planet during the day, did little to cool the planet come nightfall, as they got hot and heavy with Denmark's finest ladies of the night.
Scott Anderson, author of Green Skeptic, calls it "The Green Light District".

Politiken.dk Nyhedsbrevet 3F called various escort agencies and prostitutes to hear whether they had been busier than normal during the climate conference – and all agreed; summits in Copenhagen are good for the economy.

Dorit Otzen, who leads Reden International says that major events in Copenhagen attract more sex workers.
“A lot of men in one place means more work for prostitutes. At the same time we have a government that will not ban prostitution, so in fact we invite visitors to avail themselves of prostitutes,” Otzen says.

Victory for topless bathers!!!

Women in Copenhagen have won the right to swim and walk around topless in public pools. Any politician voting against it was threatened with execution.

Frank Hedegaard, of the Socialist People's Party, said: "I cannot understand what some people find so offensive about women's breasts." Right on Frank, it's always been a mystery to me too.

There should be a law passed to make Ted Kennedy keep a shirt on though, so we don't have to look at the manboobs.
