The Belgian population is overweight by a cumulative 45,000 tons, equivalent to about 900 cars. That's about 4.2 kilos per person in extra fat.One in two adults are overweight, and it's already affecting up to 15% of Belgian children according to the Foundation against Cancer. They are organizing a (BMI) Body Mass Index calculation for free at the Brussels Midi Station on Wednesday to promote World Day Against Cancer.
