Earth Day....some Inconvenient Truths

Over at Stormbringer they humourously debunk the Earth Day crowd from Al Gore's Church of Global Warming.

I'm putting my eggs in this guy's basket, he's old, and he looks smart.....he started "F#*K the Earth Day", a few years ago....hilairious!

Tis but a scratch!

With all the global warmists in hiding lately.....this is one of the best cartoons I've seen yet on the global warming fraud and their attempts at damage control. If you don't get the context, you'll have to watch the Monty Python sketch it was taken from.......actually watch it anyway...it's funny as hell.

Al Gore posted on his blog yesterday to claim that Repower America is the best place for anxious warmists to find reassurance that the global warming hoax is ‘real’.

With all the climate deniers spreading lies about the climate crisis in the media, it’s vital we arm ourselves with the facts. Thank God we have, Repower America.

The Global warmists are now comedy fodder

The new, improved Science. Prof. Phil Jones:
...he claimed it was not 'standard practice' to release data and computer models so other scientists could check and challenge research.

You can now forget everything they said about hurricanes. Never mind....move away please.

Everybody is laughing at Al Gore's typical moonbat NYT op-ed piece. He's doubling down on his global warming hysteria bet. This from Big Journalism's Former Veep Goes Girly-Man, Has Hissy Fit in Pages of New York Times:

With hundreds of millions of dollars on the line, Al is going all out to save his “investment” in global warming hysteria. Here, he comes up with histrionics befitting the amount of personal loss he stands to suffer.

Ed Begley Loses Control Over ClimateGate

Ed Begley's deer in the headlight eyes and incessant preaching is exactly the look of a religious zealot gone embarrassingly wrong. Just another crazy libtard who doesn't actually want to debate the issue.... just try and shout out talking points with anyone who disagrees with him. This is what you get when you have zero substance.

Prostitutes offering free sex during Copenhagen conference

You know if whores like Obama and Gore are showing up...the rest of the prostitutes will weigh in. Things are getting hot and heavy in Copenhagen ahead of the city’s massive climate change conference.

The city’s mayor warned hotels against patronizing Danish prostitutes during the upcoming U.N. summit — but the Copenhagen hookers are reportedly striking back by offering free sex to anyone who ignores the warnings. Do they know Bill Clinton is coming?....and I think Tiger Woods is going to be around too.

Mayor Ritt Bjerregaard sent postcards to 160 Copenhagen hotels, urging guests and delegates to refrain from buying sex, Spiegel Online reported.

The city’s prostitutes have retaliated by offering free sex to anyone who brings one of the cards to an assignation.

The response is being organized by the Sex Workers Interest Group (SIO), which says the mayor’s move is “sheer discrimination.”

“Ritt Bjerregaard is abusing her position as Lord Mayor in using her power to prevent us carrying out our perfectly legal job,” SIO Spokeswoman Susanne Moller told the Danish Web site Avisen.dk. “I don’t understand how she can be allowed to contact people in this way.”

Hey, if Ritt Bjerregaard really wants to prevent people from getting royally fu- screwed she should cancel this sham of a Climate Conference.

The Church of Global Warming

Gore’s church is losing followers.....this guy sums it up very nicely.

In 1971, perhaps entertaining thoughts of entering the full-time ministry, Al Gore, raised in and baptized into the Southern Baptist Church, entered the Vanderbilt Divinity School. His sojourn was relatively brief.

In three semesters, he enrolled in eight classes. He received an “F” as his grade in five of those classes. So, having failed out of school, he entered the family business, which was politics.

But he apparently never lost his desire to enter a ministry, and since he couldn’t make the grade in the conventional sense, he did the next best thing. He started his own religion. The result was the Church of Global Warming.

This is good entertainment, go here to read the rest of the story.

Remember to thank Al Gore for the warm weather

Damn I love that global warming! That's the most snow I've seen in Belgium in the ten years that I've been here, and the first snowfall, that stuck, that we've had here this year. Who would have thought that Al Gore could have figured all this out, after inventing the internet.
But the Brits need serious help! The Blackthorn was lured into flowering by the empty promises of global warming and a balmy zephyr, and now the buds are being frozen. No Blackthorn flowers, no fruit, no sloes, no sloe gin - now if that isn't a crisis I don't know what is. What will the college girls drink now?

Much of Flanders is experiencing a white Easter with snow falling or having fallen at locations across the region. The winter conditions are exceptional for late March. Bellow average temperatures have been recorded at weather stations all over Flanders during the past couple of days.
The snowfall and colder than average temperatures are good news for the operators of langlauf skiing facilities in the Belgian Ardennes.
However, fruit and vegetable farmers and gardeners are less happy with the cold snap.
The last time that temperatures in late March were so low was back in 1975.

Who says Global Warming is a bad thing!

Flanders experienced its hottest February 9th since records began in 1833. Temperatures of 16.8°C were recorded at Ukkel Observatory in Greater Brussels on Saturday.
It was a fantastic weekend for bars and restaurants.
The good weather saw many day trippers making their way to the Flemish Coast. Café terraces in towns and villages across the region also reported brisk business. Tearooms and restaurants along the coast were enjoying a surprisingly busy weekend. For many, the last few days have proved more lucrative than the Christmas period.
Readership on the blog was down about 75% over the weekend, so even you morons must have got up and done something.

Got an Economic problem?...blame the US

The volume of sales in the Belgian retail sector in December of last year fell by 7% in comparison with a year ago.
The fall is the largest in a decade and a half. Higher food and energy prices are blamed for Belgians' reluctance to dip into their wallet.
Belgians also say they are worried about a recession in the US. Luc Aben of the bankers' Van Lanschot says there is a real problem with spending power, but there are also psychological factors, Belgians are influenced by the talk of economic gloom in the media.
The Economists have started to mimick the global warming modus operandi.
If you have any kind of bad weather, blame it on global warming. If you have an economic problem, blame it on the United States.

Last week poor figures were posted for the January sales. Retail sales fell across the European Union last year, but the reduction is largest in Belgium. Spending by the public at large has a big impact on the economy as a whole. The tumbling figures suggest that the European economic slow down is worse than anticipated.

Brussels to ban Patio Heaters....hey it's Global Warming!

Freezing smokers, thrown out of pubs thanks to the smoking ban, have taken to huddling by outdoor heaters. Obviously, it's time to ban those.
A vote in Brussels today is expected to call on the European Commission to abolish the heaters to help to tackle climate change. Such a move could cost the pub and catering trade dear.
Pubs spent about £85 million on patio heaters after the smoking ban was introduced last year. Besides forcing smokers into the cold there is concern that a ban on patio heaters could bring a significant cash loss to pubs, cafés and restaurants.

Here's a thought: If you want to build a movement against climate change, it's probably best not to make a nation of smokers desperate for a bit of global warming. I think Brussels must be afraid of the competition for producing 'Hot Air'?......Smoke 'em if ya got 'em. STORY IN THE TIMES

It's a rather cold Winter, ya think?

There are few iconic images, illustrating the (supposed) effects of global warming than the photograph of an adult polar bear with its cub, apparently stranded on melting ice, miles away from the shore line.
It has been used by, amongst others, snake oil salesman Al Gore and, of course, found its way into the media, not least The Daily Mail which milked it for all the emotional appeal that it could possibly extract from it.
Now, from an online piece written by Carole J Williams, we get a superb dissertation on how the photographs came to be taken, how they were stolen from the original photographer and then came into the hands of Al Gore, who used them totally out of context to make a point which was not in any way supported by the material he was using.
The photographs themselves – or their use - are a classic example of framing, and demonstrate how it is the context imposed on material rather than the material itself that conveys the message.

Minnesotans for Global Warming

Here's an idea whose time has come. Being from the Great White North myself, I can relate to this guys efforts to turn your snow shovels into lawn chairs and lets promote this global warming crap.

"As a born and raised Minnesotan, I bring a fresh perspective to this controversial issue calling for the acceptance, and even promotion of a worldwide climate change. I have experienced many Minnesota winters and cannot fathom why the possibility of warmer weather is undesirable."
BLOG
We have had climate change in Minnesota forever, we just happen to call it weather. Only an idiot would oppose a warmer Minnesota.
